Blow Mold Wiki

Beco Products, originally known as the Bernard Edward Company, was a manufacturing company founded in TBD.

History[]

Founded as the Bernard Edward Company by Bernard and Edward Yellin (Hence the eventual name of BECO), the company was mainly known for manufacturing various household supplies and accessories in the 1940s and 1950s. It wouldn’t be until the early 1960s that the company began to manufacture various blow molded holiday decorations.

In 1965, Beco was purchased by MSL Industries. MSL would continue to use the Beco name on their products until 1968 when their products (including the blow molds) were rebranded as MSL Plastics.

In 1970, General Foam Plastics purchased the Beco lineup of holiday blow molds and started produced a number of them themselves that same year. General Foam would continue to produce a number of Beco’s classic designs until their own closure in 2017.
