Blow Mold Wiki

TPI Plastics, also known as Tucker Plastics Inc. was a Canadian blow molding company founded in 1958.

History[]

Tucker Plastics Inc was founded in 1958. At some point in time Donald Henderson became president and CEO of the company. Prior to 1987, the company was mostly known for producing plastic household goods such as trash cans, watering cans, laundry baskets, and other household goods. In the early 1980’s they began producing various lawn ornaments including their own version of the famous pink flamingo.

In 1987 they began producing illuminated blow Mold Christmas decorations, starting with a 41 inch Santa and Snowman pair. Many designs would follow in the coming years with Halloween and Easter designs being added to the ever increasing lineup.

TPI would go out of business in 2004, with Farley Technologies being contracted to fill remaining orders into 2005, Farley would then come into possession of many of TPI’s molds and producing them until they went out of business themselves in 2008.

At some point, Cado Products came into possession of several TPI molds including the Snowman with Penguin and the NOEL Candle and began producing them themselves in 2015.
